The Immunization Program achieves its mission and goal through education, immunization record assessments, direct vaccine services, disease surveillance, outbreak control and a fully operational immunization registry. The Immunization Program provides:

- Medicare, Uninsured, Underinsured Vaccine Providers
- Provides free vaccines through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program to providers enrolled in the VFC that vaccinate children who:
- Are eligible for Medicaid;
- Have no health insurance;
- Have health insurance, but it does not cover immunizations AND go to a federally qualified health center
- Are Native American or Alaskan Native.
- Provides free immunizations to uninsured and underinsured children and adults through special walk-in evening clinics* and community-supported events.
- Conducts assessments for children in licensed child-care, Head Start Centers, all schools and all grades.
- Conducts an annual retrospective survey from kindergarten school entry data to assess completion of initial vaccine series by 2 years of age.
