WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) provides fresh vegetables and fruit to women, children and seniors who are nutritionally at risk and to expand the awareness and use of farmers’ market.
WIC is a federally funded nutrition program that provides nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and support and supplemental food to pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children.
The WIC Mobile Unit is a full service clinic on wheels where women, infants and children are provided nutrition assessments, nutrition education, WIC benefits, breastfeeding information and support and referrals to other social services.
